Use Clarity suggestions
Clarity proposes labels for the rows it recognises. Here is where they appear, when to accept, when to read first, and how to say no.
Your workbook may look different. If there is no brown band of buttons along the top, use the Money Mastery menu in the menu bar above your workbook. The names are a little different there: Categorize is Categorize Transactions, Reports is Clarity AI & Reports, Dashboard is Open Dashboard, and Start Here is Getting Started.

Hi again. Today Clarity does some of the work for you. We look at its suggestions, when to accept them, and when to read first.
Open Categorize. Some rows show a label in italics in the label box before you have touched them. Italic means a suggestion. Nothing is labelled until you accept it.
Each suggestion comes from somewhere: what you chose for this merchant before, or the row itself. Hover the small badge next to the suggestion and it tells you which, and how sure it is.
Click the tab at the top that says Clarity. Every suggested row is gathered here in one list, with the label it proposes, the reason, and two buttons on each row: a tick to accept and a cross to reject.
Read the first one. Payroll, Salary. That is right. Click the tick. The italics turn solid, the row leaves the Clarity list, and the footer says Saved.
Read the next. Netflix, Streaming. Right again. Click the tick.
When every row left in the list is that kind, click Accept All at the top of the list. The window asks you to confirm; click Accept. They are all done, and the count on the Clarity tab reads zero.
When one is wrong, do not accept it. Click the cross, and the box goes back to empty. Or click the label box and choose the right label yourself. Next time that merchant appears, Clarity proposes what you chose.
A rule for the vague ones: a big amount with a name you do not recognise, read t.
Before you click, ask three things. Is this what the row was. Is it in the right lane, personal or business. Would you want every future row from this merchant treated the same way. Three yeses, accept.
A rejected suggestion is remembered too. Reject Amazon as Groceries twice and choose Household, and Household is what Clarity proposes for Amazon from then on.
Recurring merchants, accept. A big amount with a vague name, read it first. See you in the next one.
